Online graphic utility for producing maps and unit blocks?

ImagineImage WargameMapper is a pretty cool online utility for producing maps of historical battles and of tabletop wargame scenarios; may be of some utility for Kriegsspiel but have had no time to explore this yet. Produces ready made graphics in various colours for the several necessary kinds of units, anyhow.

From what I can see it only gives you the option of a square grid, not a hex-based one.

I think it could be very useful in preparing maps for briefings and game write-ups.
