More info please!
Hi all,
I found out about Kriegsspiel a couple of days ago and do have some questions.
1) Is KS played as a game?
2) Is it possible to re-fight famous battles such as Austerlitz?
3) If I´m going to buy KS do I only need e.g KS 1824?
Thanks in advance,
Michael

1) Yes! Keep in mind that you need umpires as well as players. Ideally, with N players, you have N+1 umpires, but you can manage will slightly fewer if the umpires know what they are doing.
2) Yes, but it would require lots of equipment.
3) The minimum you need is the rules, so 1824 for the Napoleonic period. The map sets can be handy, too, though!
Keep in mind you'll need a map for each player plus a map for the umpires.
