Whatever happened to the old KS Pages?

Post  Ossel on Wed Apr 23, 2014 5:55 pm

All,
I was wondering if anyone knew where the old Kriegsspiel pages went when the site format changed. I'm referring specifically to an excellent introductory article that included pictures of pieces, etc. (I believe it was called "Practical Kriegsspiel" or something to that effect).

They are still available, Ossel.  You can find them on our website, which runs in parallel to this forum.  Just go to the forum home page and click on the link to Kriegsspiel.org.uk Home near the top.

The website has recently been rebuilt, and is now in the process of being upgraded.  More stuff will be added shortly.  But lots of articles are already there.

Yeah, I looked through the website, I just noticed that that particular article was missing. It had a lot of great info about specific scales, pictures of unit markers, how to umpire, etc. Since it disappeared, I've noticed links to it don't work either. Hopefully in adding content to the site, this article can be brought back as well.

The intention is to include everything that used to be there, unless it's too dated. So the article you mentioned will be definitely returning  Very Happy .

Hi Martin

On the back of Ossels querie.....when I was last a member, which was some time ago now the website had quite a few articles and resources which could either be down loaded or copied and pasted into a document.

Are these still available or will they be made available on the new website?

cheers tony
