Garnier's newest random maps

Post  Mr. Digby on Mon Nov 17, 2014 9:46 pm

I saw his latest maps on the GCM site; link to the minimaps here:

http://www.sowmp.com/gcm/battles/maps

I thought several of those would suit our Nap games - the ones with fewer woods. There's also a couple of seriously hilly and wooded ones which might do for a Wellingtonian style defence, plus there's a couple with major streams on them.

Always seeking new maps suitable for Nap games I will probably use some of these in the campaign, so please download them if you haven't already:

There are several of Garnier's random maps in the nappy mod.

That's true, and I'll revisit these as potential battlefields. We have used them all quite a bit IIRC. I was trying to find something fresh. Some of the latest ones stood out to me as being a bit different.

Most of the random maps are all the same. That's the shortcoming of random generation.

This is quite true but there are a few that stood out as being different - maybe only 3 or 4 - and it was these I was looking at.
