Bill Leeson's Waterloo maps auctioned for charity!!

Post  King_Rufus on Sat Jan 16, 2016 10:28 pm

...by our old friend Arthur, none other.

Check it out HERE

Unfortunately, the auction may now be closed, but a nice bit of Kriegsspiel history is recounted here.

Beautiful maps, done in similar style to his later Koeniggratz-Sadowa and Metz maps. As well as his many other abilities, Bill Leeson was a talented artist.

I've only ever seen his Waterloo in b&w. Thanks for posting.
