1:25,000 Maps of Poland
This was originally posted in the Yahoo Forum by Ian Jackson
maps of poland etc
this is 1:25 000 scale
enlarge by 333.33% to get 1:7500
http://www.mapywig.org/viewpage.php?page_id=6
Here is a small section of a typical map for perusal

Followed by a few comments:
=================================================
SWEET! Very useful for campaigns in Poland, including Napoleonic
Prussia and western Russia.
Many thanks for the tip!
Jan Spoor
=================================================
Having looked at a few (so not all) I note the towns seem to lack any
fortress walls so I suspect these had been demolished in the most part
(in the same way Vienna lost its walls to make way for roads etc.)
Tim Carne
=================================================
However, in many European cities dating from that era you can often trace the lines of the old city walls along the streets. Moscow, for example, has an inner ring road that follows the path of the old city walls.
Robert A. Mosher
=================================================
whilst not fortress walls the Krakau maps in 1:25000 have several
forts on the maps series are P48 S30 (D, E, G,& H)
