I hope you are not making them in high resolution which results in very large files. We won't be able to use those in the mod.

Would you be able to lower the resolution yourself or repack them as DXT1 or DXT5?
As I explained before, I can't export them as DXT1 or DXT5 textures.

The files are 30 megabytes depending on the size of the spreadsheet.

I just tried repacking one of your Swedish sheets using DTX5. That does bring the size down to the appropriate level.

Save your work in png format, (compression size 9), and I'll pack them in the dds format. If you are using photoshop, you should be able to download a plugin that will allow you to save in DTX5.

Great Kevin. I'll send you the saxons as PNG files as soon as they are done.
I have a .dds plugin for Photoshop, however when saving them as DXT1 or DXT5 files, the images become corrupted and unusable. (very strange)

Would you be okay with you having to add the code for the sprites in the unitglobal, unitpack and unitmodel csv files?

I can do the .plist for you if you wish.

Yes, I can do the logistics files. Tell me which sprites you are repainting for each.

You can have the fun of renaming the sprites in the plist files. Use SAX as the root name.

Copy, when everything is complete, I will include a txt file that explains what sprites were recoloured into the new sprites.

For example,

FR_ART -> SAX_ART

and so on.

I'll try and keep the sprite names as close to your default namings as possible.

I imagine the Saxon gunners white breeches were the dress uniform, impractical on campaign but would they have worn green? I would expect grey or brown overalls would be worn. The all-green uniform looks a little odd though I can't put my finger on why.

Maybe it's because they look too much like the Russians. Wink

I'll do what I can to make them as authentic as possible, but I bet in the end they'll look more accurate than the current saxons in the KS mod. Razz
