First name terms

Post  Blaugrana on Tue Oct 02, 2012 9:11 pm

Dear all,

I like the Kriegspielers' practice of using first names. I think it contributes to the comradely and good-humoured nature of our games and our on-line 'conversations'. I'd like to put in a plea for people to sign their posts with their real name if possible, so we all get to know each others' real names and not just handles.

Yours,

Jeff

edit: I'm enjoying finding out more about yous all. I will try and add a list here. Apologies in advance for any omissions, gaffes etc.

I agree, especially with the sudden influx of new players for the campaign, some of whom I have no clue who they are. First names must be shown!

Yes, this is a good idea, although I'm lousy at remembering names. That's probably why I went into physics rather than biology.

Great! Welcome and thanks.

We do have some units available, which were built into the campaign for newcomers to play.

If you can, join the teamspeak and play a few games with us. Then we'll get you going in the campaign if you're still interested.

Thanks Father, I have already spoken in TS with Cleburne about the campaign; I would like to join it and I have no preferences for the side. Only are not completly clear to me, how it works and were the main section I need to read for the rules.

Welcome to you both, Davide and Alberto. To choose a side, you must decide if you prefer sackcloth and ashes, (rebels), or wine, women and silverware, (Union).

Oh, you'll get women with the Union, just not for the first week; during your first week, you are the woman.
