Future events
Are these being listed here or on the main website or on both?

Re: Future events
I think the idea is to list the events on both. The people running individual games can start their own topic in this forum, under the 'Game Management' banner, and then release details as they're available.
The list on the website normally has fewer details, and is dependent on Richard updating it. But the demands of his current job means that this will only happen from time to time I expect.

Re: Future events
More towards the skirmish end I think, although it's Mark Jarvis who's running this one. Tactical anyway.
Maybe out in the country or an urban fight. He was still cogitating, last I heard.

All Depends
On Maps...
Either a city fight based on Hue....
Or a Company / Battalion level Airborne Op...
Or something really different at a very low level....
Reading some source material at the moment so will post more once I have worked it out.....

Re: Future events
Last Saturday's game seemed to go well. Various Red columns were attempting to drive blue out of a valley SE of Metz, where the latter had set up several supply depots in preparation for a siege of the fortress. For much of the game Blue seemed to be ahead, as Red took some time to get their offensive going, and their widely separated columns were having difficulty coordinating. However a late series of attacks crushed Blue's northern flank, and gave Red a pretty decisive win. Blue reinforcements were on the way, but were still several hours distant.
Next game, on Sunday 17 October, is an army-level game, set in the 7 Years War.
